 Celebrating Happy new year in Islam

 

 اللّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّوُرِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُمُ الطَّاغُوتُ يُخْرِجُونَهُم مِّنَ النُّورِ إِلَى الظُّلُمَاتِ أُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ

وقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم  من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم""

 

Allah says in holy quran ;;

Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever).

  Allah is wali /guardian / protector of momin

And (kafir ) their patrons are false deities and they will lead them from light to darkness !!

The momin honoured with wali of Allah he will lead a life  as he commands 

If he celebrates any culture he must know weather the culture goes against his commandments his law or not 

If yes  he must stay away from this kind of act 

 Now Wishing happy new year or celebrating it 

Is cultural!!

Any invention of cultural is linked to a religion!!

Coming to the basic question 

Who celebrates it who's culture ???

Of course the yahood and nasara  !!!!

 

 what allah says in holy Quran about them;

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۘ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّهُمْ مِنْكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ ﴿٥١﴾

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people

Allah declared them  Zamil/ wrongdoers folk/unjust!!!

Allah declared them who allies with  yahood and nasara is zalim wrongdoers

If zulm  mixes with iman what will happen??

Allah says; 

﴿ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَمۡ يَلۡبِسُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنَهُم بِظُلۡمٍ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡأَمۡنُ وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ ﴾

[ الأنعام: 82]

It is those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah and worship none but Him Alone) and confuse not their belief with Zulm (wrong  by worshipping others besides Allah), for them (only) there is security and they are the guided

 If any momin celebrates happy new year then he mixed his iman with zulm 

And iman will be with zulm and he is zalim 

If it is not (not mixing iman with zulm)

Then allah says:;

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡأَمۡنُ وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ ﴾

for them (only) there is security and they guided !!!

Islam is nt against any culture   if the culture goes against humanity against shariya law then you stay away from this act

 

 Because gathering in open hall where singing dancing drinking activity happens .!!

Is this the culture?? Is this the religion ??

Allah says:;

يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ

O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,

 what to in this situation Allah says ;

وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ

And what the messenger has given you take it  and what has forbidden you  refrain from..fear Allah indeed Allah is severe in punishment penalty

 Even you are going to celebrate and making excuse that you are participating in this night for the sake of friendship ......

then allah warns you and and says ;

    

«من تَشبَّه بقوم, فهو منهم».

  Whoever imitates a people is one of them 

If someone dies while celebrating he will be with them on the day of judgment

 
      Why Islam doesn't allow 31st night??

  Gathering male female under one roof!! 

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏صِنفان من أهل النار لم أرهما‏:‏ قوم معهم سياط كأذناب البقر يضربون بها الناس، ونساء كاسيات عاريات مميلات مائلات، رءوسهن كأسنمة البخت المائلة لا يدخلن الجنة، ولا يجدن ريحها، وإن ريحها ليوجد من مسيرة كذا وكذا‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏ 

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "There are two types of people who will be punished in Hell and whom I have not seen: men having whips like the tails of cows and they will be beating people with them, and, women who will be dressed but appear to be naked, inviting to evil; and they themselves will be inclined to it. Their heads will appear like the humps of the Bactrian camel inclined to one side. They will not enter Jannah and they will not smell its fragrance which is perceptible from such and such a distance.

2 , singing dancing 

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ .

وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا وَلَّى مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًا فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Quran) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire).

وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا وَلَّى مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًا......

When Our verses are recited before them they turn away haughtily as though they did not hear them, as if a deafness had come into their ears. So give them tidings of a shameful punishment.

3. Excess use of wealth

وَلَا تُسۡرِفُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ
but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allah) likes not Al-Musrifun (those who waste by extravagance

4.  Harming momin for the act they did not commit !!

In areas where the party organized the DJ music ,singing , dancing ,loudspeaker sounds overlap one another  and it hearts the momin ......

Allah says;;

وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِغَيْرِ مَا اكْتَسَبُوا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلُوا بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُبِينًا ﴿٥٨﴾
Those who harm believing men and believing women, for acts they did not commit, bear the burden of perjury and blatant sin

;Isme mobin means muzrim  and Allah  says

امتازو الْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ ﴿٥٩
.And O you the criminals! Get you apart this Day.''

He commands them to get apart from the believers,  to stand apart from the believers

How they will be recognized !!

Allah says;

يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ ﴿٤١﴾
. The guilty will be recognized by their marks; they will be seized by the 

forelocksand the feet.

5. The one who celebrates .........

They don't pray esha and fazr
 
عن عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول‏:‏ ‏"‏من صلى العشاء في جماعة، فكأنما قام نصف الليل ومن صلى الصبح في جماعة، فكانما صلى الليل كله‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: "One who performs 'Isha' prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat for half of the night. And one who performs the Fajr prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat the whole night."

بَشِّرِ الْمَشَّائِينَ فِي الظُّلَمِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ بِالنُّورِ التَّامِّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Give glad tidings to those who walk to the mosques in the dark, of perfect light on the Day of Resurrection.'"


Conclusion!!!!

حاسبوا أنفسكم قبل أن تحاسبوا، وزنوا أنفسكم قبل أن توزنوا
Judge yourselves before you are judged, weigh your deeds before they are weighed for you,

   Aa Muslim your responsibility to judge
 yourself what you have prepared for you how you prepared for your target 
Judge after day after week after month after a year!!
Because  the budgets of your life has passed and some are left
Beautify yourselves for the grand exposition. That day your deeds will be exposed,
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُعْرَ‌ضُونَ لا تَخْفَىٰ مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ

On that day you shall be exposed, not one secret of yours concealed".

 Allah says;

وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ نَسُوا اللَّهَ فَأَنْسَاهُمْ أَنْفُسَهُمْ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ ﴿

And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. These are the sinners


May Allah guide us all on the right path and prevent us from departing it  (Amin)
